The Gglitch is:

Ty Byerly: Vocals, Electric Dulcimer
Ty is the abusive father figure of the group. Ty enjoys loud music, trash can fires, and late nights in the tool shed with his good friends Skyler "Skittles" and Shawn "Stank" Higgins. Ty was one of the original founding fathers of the Gglitch, and immidiately assumed the 'frontman' position, inspiring the "I've been up for a week/No one here is safe" image of the band. Between shows and rehearsal, and excluding his 4-7 day toolshed stints, Ty spends time maintaining his farmland and 240 head of cattle.

Byron Stevens: Bass Guitar
Byron joined the Gglitch in 2006. His tremendous talent as a bass player has been an invaluable asset to the band. Although Byron is frequently away on studio photo sesssions for various men's health and apparel catalogues, his musical discipline and ferocious energy help provide the "balls" behind The Gglitch's music. In a recent visit to his hometown of Richmond, VA, Byron was offered a 3-year contract by long-time family friend Craig Johnson to be the next "Marlboro Man." Byron, however is a Winston man.

Brian Cretzmeyer: Keyboards, Vocals, Accordion
Though one of the original founders of The Gglicth, most in the Pacific coastal U.S. will probably recognize Brian as the popular Wednesday morning television icon Brian Miracle. His controversial not-for-profit "Cash For Glory United Prayer Group" has recently brought a shroud of negative media attention to the Gglitch. Nonetheless, Brian's "Sunday morning going-to-church-with-it" style has helped shape the sound of The Gglitch since it's conception in 1999.

Austin Morford: Guitar, Vocals, Auxiliary Percussion
"Chili cookoffs, horseshoes, San Antonio, Old El Paso, civil war memorabilia, Lyndon B. Johnson, George W. Bush, guns, salsa, the great plains, cotton, big oil, Deep Ellum, cigarettes, cowboys, lonesome trails, campfires, The Rangers, The Astros, Davey Crocket, gila monsters, The Rockets, The Spurs, The Mavericks, The Dallas Cowboys, livestock, pecans, Arlington, horse shit, Tex-Mex, barbecue, ranch livin', gambling, horse-back riding, enchiladas, burros...that's what I'm into"
-Austin Morford, February 2007

Adam Morford: Drums, Percussion, Vocals
Adam joined the Gglitch in 2004. Adam's role in the Gglitch is truly a vital one. AKA "Citrus Coco", Adam single handedly generates the bands only "actual" revenue by gathering and sorting beer cans and other redeamable garbage from soybean fields throghout the Midwest. During the winter months the Gglitch relies mostly on shoplifting and rummaging unatended commercial kitchens for food.

Matt Skinner: Guitar, Vocals
Long-time friend and collaborator Matt Skinner first began working with the Gglitch while in the studio recording "Scenes From the Good Life." Matt is a multi-talented instrumentalist, song-writer and sound technician. He was also a founding member of the native Iowa City rock quintet The Jensen Connection. While not in session with the Gglitch, Skinner is continually writing and performing as a solo artist.

Otar Taktakishvili, MD: Scalpel, Forceps, Gurney
Otar recently moved to Stony Brook, NY where he is currently working in the ER as an emergency medical doctor. Otar joined the Gglitch in 2000 and has since been a primary influence and songwriter for the group. Otar was also the principal engineer and songwriter of the band's debut studio release "Scenes From the Good Life." He is at the very least a legend in Iowa City with an extremely bright future ahead of him. Otar will be collaborating with the Gglitch on the band's next studio release set to hit stores in the Summer of 2009.
